Welcome!

Troop 373 is an active, fun organization dedicated to introducing young men from our community to the Boy Scouting values. We work with the scouts at all levels to set goals and work hard to achieve them. We are proud to be the home troop to 155 Eagle Scouts. It is our goal that each of our scouts achieves this honor, and we work with all scouts to accomplish this goal.

We live by the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and Scout Slogan. We're proud to be Scouts, and want to share that pride with others. We are independently chartered and we maintain an active schedule of fun events for the scouts including weekly troop meetings, monthly camping trips, summer camps, merit badge colleges and special events.

Troop 373 meetings are on Tuesday nights 7:00-8:30pm at the Newton Middle School Cafeteria, 4001 E. Arapahoe Rd., Centennial, CO 80122 (Located on the corner of Arapahoe and Colorado - enter from the east parking lot)  We meet weekly during the school year.

Help with Cub Scout Day Camp

Attending and helping out is an excellent method for recruiting new Boy Scouts, and showing your Scout Spirit. 

The Arapahoe District Twilight Camp is looking for Boy Scouts and/or Scouters to help out with various activities teaching Cub Scouts and Webelos. 

TIMES & DATES

  • Thursday and Friday, June 15 and 16 - 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, June 17 - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

LOCATION

  • Englewood Middle and High School, 3800 S. Logan Street, Englewood, CO  80110 

If you need SERVICE HOURS, and are available, then I encourage you to register using the link via Sign-Up Genius.

I will be helping with knot tying on Saturday, June 17.  Therefore, if you would like to help me with teaching the SQUARE KNOT, TWO-HALF HITCHES, CLOVE HITCH, etc. to Cub Scouts, please sign-up.

Scout Trey Brauchler and family have put together three plant-themed merit badges for the second week of June. Earn one, two or all three! Please use the RSVP sign up on the right side of the page to register for any or all of these badges and find detailed information about each merit badge.

NATURE merit badge - Saturday, June 10th 9am - 1pm.

GARDENING merit badge - Monday, June 12th 9am - 1pm.

FORESTRY merit badge - Wednesday, June 14th 10am - 1pm.

Flower Sales Awards

During the Court of Honor this past week the Flower Committee handed out awards for sales this year. A number of scouts were not in attendance, but we want to make sure all of you receive your awards for your contribution to the troop fundraiser. The following scouts listed below can come to The Steinberg's Home to pick up their awards:

Merit Badge Books

The troop always tries to maintain a healthy (and current) collection of merit badge books. If you have borrowed any merit badge books, please return them. If you have some merit badge books you would like to donate, please do! Contact librarian Jonah Streichert to return, donate, or borrow merit badge books.

Court of Honor
