Welcome!

Troop 373 is an active, fun organization dedicated to introducing young men from our community to the Boy Scouting values. We work with the scouts at all levels to set goals and work hard to achieve them. We are proud to be the home troop to 155 Eagle Scouts. It is our goal that each of our scouts achieves this honor, and we work with all scouts to accomplish this goal.

We live by the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and Scout Slogan. We're proud to be Scouts, and want to share that pride with others. We are independently chartered and we maintain an active schedule of fun events for the scouts including weekly troop meetings, monthly camping trips, summer camps, merit badge colleges and special events.

Troop 373 meetings are on Tuesday nights 7:00-8:30pm at the Newton Middle School Cafeteria, 4001 E. Arapahoe Rd., Centennial, CO 80122 (Located on the corner of Arapahoe and Colorado - enter from the east parking lot)  We meet weekly during the school year.

We invite you to visit our troop meetings to see what Boy Scouting is all about. Check out our next Troop Meeting date on the right under Upcoming Events. If you have any questions, want more information or want information about joining, please contact our Scoutmaster at scoutmaster@troop373.org.

Fly Fishing Merit Badge Shakedown

Posted on Jun 24 2017 - 9:25pm

The shakedown for the Fly Fishing Merit Badge being lead by Mr. Boase is this coming Tuesday, June 27th at 7pm his house:

2237 E. Nichols Dr.

Centennial, CO 80122

And they're off!

Posted on Jun 24 2017 - 9:19pm

Our group of twelve scouts and four adults jetted off to Miami this past Tuesday. From Miami they headed south to the Keys. They're spending the week on a "coral sailing" trip as part of BSA's High Adventure Seabase program. If you have a younger scout, keep high adventure trips in mind for future summers. Seabase is a great sailing trip, Northern Tiers is a canoeing and camping trip and Philmont is a backpacking trip. They are all incredible and every scout who attends one of these trips talks about how it changes them and gets them excited to push themselves farther in scouts.

NO PLC or ASM meetings in the summer

Parents - Learn CPR

Scouters and Parents,

Front Range CPR is an approved training center for the American Safety & Health Institute, as well as, the Boy Scouts high adventure bases programs and treks, and the Girl Scouts of America leaders and youth training. Presently they are offering special discounted rates for the 2017 Season to Scouters.

As many of you know, a minimum of one adult leader is required to have a current Wilderness First Aid Certification for all high adventure programs, e.g., Sea Base, Boundary Waters, and Philmont. Also, our Troop is often required to have more than one trained adult leader based on the number of Scouts participating in the activity.

As a result, this may be your opportunity to help your son(s), as well as, other Scouts in the Troop by becoming First Aid certified! First Aid, CPR and AED courses are also available. Please feel free to register at www.frcpr.com/scouts or call (720) 524-6447.

Thank you -

Mr. Short
