Troop Annual Patrol Chili Cook-off, April 2010

Each year our Troop has a chili cook-off in the early spring between all the patrols.  This friendly competition promotes communication between all the patrol members since each Scout is required to bring an ingredient to make their favorite chili recipe.  Cooperation and teamwork in necessary to have a good tasting chili.  Each patrol is judged by the Senior Patrol Leaders and his assistant Senior Patrol Leaders for taste, presentation, and originality.  This is the first cooking experiences for our new Scout Patrols and helps them get ready for their first spring Troop Campout.
