Troop RADIO Merit Badge Class -  January 2009

The Radio Merit Badge class was taught by Mr. Weber, one of the Authors of the Radio Merit Badge Book to our Boy Scout Troop on January 17th, 2009 at the home of ASM Tim Evans. We had a total of 12 scouts that completed the requirements and that since the class, two of the twelve Scouts already are trying to pursue in getting a Radio Amateur License.  Mr. Weber's experience as a Teacher and Scout Leader was spot on and he had those boys totally engaged from the very beginning to the very end of the class. Mr. Weber's understanding of the field or Amateur Radio and ability to convey the concepts to the boys was just fantastic and everyone was very much impressed with the entire program he had prepared for the boys. Thank you Mr. Weber and Mr. Evans.
