Cherry Valley Summer Scout Camp on Catalina Island, California, June 2009

Troop 373 ventured out of state to Catalina Island, California for Summer Scout Camp at Camp Cherry Valley.  We went sea kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, sailing, wind sailing and much more.   We camped in tents under huge old cherry trees and being on a beach was really fun.  The whole program was fantastic including lots of cool songs and skits.  The theme was the Scottish Highlander Games.  Traveling to Catalina was quite an adventure of flying from Denver then taking a ferry boat to Catalina Island then hiking over the hills into camp.  Troop 373 has been to this unique summer camp the summers of 2003, 2006 and now 2009.  When will we return ???
