Troop 373 Backpacking Trek along the Colorado Trail, July 2008

The Colorado Trail is a 550 mile hiking and backpacking trail that begins at Waterton Canyon west of Denver at the foothills and continues to Durango, Colorado.  In July 2008 our Troop organized a several night backpacking trek starting at Wellington Lake and continued to Kenosha Pass.  Several of the Scouts and their Dads were experienced backpackers and others were fine tuning their skills.  Hopefully this will become an annual event and other sections of the Colorado Trail will be concurred.
