Northern Tiers High Adventure - Bissett, Manitoba, Canada , July 2007

Two crews of Scouts and adult leaders went to Manitoba Canada to the Bissett Base of the BSA Northern Tiers High Adventure for 12 days of Canoeing the lakes and rivers with lots of portages between each body of water.  Our crews flew in a float plane from base camp to the Scout Lake to pick out our canoes.  One group canoed 100 miles while the other crew went 75 miles.  Lots of great exercise and even some time for fishing.  We were at least 30 miles from the closest roads and each crew had a satellite phone for emergencies.  .
