Troop Outing - Arapahoe District Winter KLONDEREE, February 2006

Lake Wellington 2 night campout in the winter.  Freezing weather while we set up the canvas tent  We had some warmth by bringing our pot belly stove that burns wood.  We had hot water for hot chocolate thanks to the potbelly stainless steel hot water attachment.  Our group did tons of tiring activities on the first day.  We had a lot of fun on the ice of the frozen lake. A cool game we made was bowling. During the first day, one of the activities was the annual sled race. Ryan Spahr and Dr. Spahr made the sled for our group. During the first night it was thirteen degrees below zero. The second night it got to three degrees below zero. Even though it was a freezing experience, we all had a lot of fun.
