BSA Summer Camp Cherry Valley - Catalina Island, California, June 2006

Twenty Scouts and adults took cars, planes, bus, ferry, and hike into paradise on Catalina Island off the coast of California for a week long summer camp at Cherry Valley Scout Camp.  Campers lived in their tents below 50 foot old cherry trees.  Food was great as was the wonderful program of Scottish games and lots of singing from the camp staff.  The trading post was very popular as was snorkeling in the ocean and sea kayaking.  Many who went said this camp was the best BSA Summer Camp that they had ever been to.  Mark your calendars for Summer 2009 to go again to hear the wonderful Camp Cherry Valley songs and activities.
