Caving at Fulford Cave and Fall Family Campout at the Nottingham Ranch, October 2005

The Nottingham family again hosted our Troop to campout at their wonderful ranch located just south of Fulford Cave.  We camped two nights at the ranch which is located just 10 miles from the Fulford Cave entrance.  Saturday we ventured to Fulford Cave with our helmets, 3 light sources, old clothes and daypack with food and water.  We spent about 5 hours exploring this cave along with about 60+ other people including many other Boy Scout troops.  It was very wet in the cave and muddy with many of  the people climbing end exploring the eight largest cave in Colorado.  Great time of year to enjoy the yellow aspen trees.
