Troop 373 Annual Service Project at COMPA Food Ministries, November 2005

Compa Food Ministries holds their Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive for needy Denver area families.  Troop 373 has participated in this annual event thanks to our wonderful Assistant Scoutmaster, Mike Cohen who helps coordinate this event.  Mike is a volunteer on the board of directors of Compa.  Every year this event distributes food to over 15,000 families in the Denver metro area.  Our Troop helps distribute the grocery sacks of food to the waiting cars of volunteers who drive the food to the needy families.  It is a wonderful event with hundreds of volunteers from Scouting, schools and many Churches.  Thanks to everyone who helps on this annual service project.  It really helps us all appreciate the Spirit of Thanksgiving.
