Troop 373 Events Back to the listBSA Florida Seabase Coral Reef Sailing High Adventure, August 2004August in Florida is hot and humid for the Colorado Crew of 5 Scouts and 3 Adults but we went because of the "Lobster season" We hooked our fishing lines twice on Lobster Traps while motoring to Key West. We enjoyed snorkeling on several reefs and saw several sharks and barracudas. We enjoyed the sunshine in Key West and the shopping then we got the news that Hurricane "Charley" was only two days away. We were evacuated back to Seabase then we were sent off to the airport to come back to Denver safely. The high adventure really began away from the sailboat.
