Troop 373 has two backpacking treks to Philmont Scout Ranch July  2004

Philmont is the largest and most poplar of the National Boy Scout High adventures.  Located in Cimmaron, New Mexico Philmont Scout Ranch hosts over 22,000 Scouts and Adults each summer for extended backpacking treks.  There are over 20,000 Scouts on the waiting list every year that cannot go due to limited space.  Our Troop was fortunate in 2004 to be able to have two crews of Scouts and Leaders attend this adventure.  The Photos below are from one of our two treks.  Thanks to leaders, John Rohde and Debbie Urban who volunteered to lead this backpacking trip.
