Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch at Camp Cris Dobbins, July 2004

Troop 373 had 25 Scouts and several adult leaders spend the week at Camp Cris Dobbins.  We enjoyed the sunshine and some rainstorms that tried to wash away our big party tent.  We all got Aspen tree walking sticks to carve thanks to our Scoutmaster, Mr. Earle.  We also made lots of hemp rope jewelry and lanyards.  We worked hard on our merit badges and completed over 40 of them and another 50 were partially completed for a total of 90 attempted.  We also got lots of the Tenderfoot, 2nd and 1st class rank advancements done at the Eaglebound Classes.  Food was served Family Style and members of the "Staph" joined us for each of our meals.  Our own Troop Senior Patrol Leader, Matt W. was a CIT-Camp Counselor in Training and gave us extra care.  Lots of skits and songs were presented at the traditional campfires and we had great Parent participation.
