Sailing Merit Badge Training and Campout at Cherry Creek State Park, June 2004

We launched our new Troop sailboat at the Cherry Creek State Park reservoir.  The small boat sailing merit badge training took place on Friday and Saturday with a beautiful campout in the group campsite.  Mr. Christian taught the class with Mr. Earle assisting.  Everyone learned the required sailing boat instruction on land on Friday night then everyone got to go sailing for several hours on Saturday on Cherry Creek reservoir.  This event was repeated in late July 2004.
